3 More days ....

Last Friday night, all the girls from our small group went out to dinner, uhm... feasted, at PF Changs. It was so wonderful to have a girls night out! And all the husbands stayed home with the kids. (You're thinking, Joel lucked out, but no, he worked until 8). We had wonderful food, and amazing desserts, not to mention great conversation and fun!

This week has been full of meetings with me. Meetings to discuss a new textbook. Mettings to help out students. Meeting to plan meetings. I'm so glad that it is only three days until Spring Break begins!!

Now for the random comment:
I was in my car driving to work. I was flipping through radio stations and landed on the Christian radio station. Now I usually don't listen to it because I get tired of hearing the same songs I heard when I was in high school, but I decided not to flip. A song was playing about being broken. We hear about this topic a lot, but it got me thinking. When I think about being broken, I think about when I'm in the muck and mire of life. But what does it really mean to live a day to day broken life? If anyone has an insights let me know.

What a crazy week!

I'm so glad this week is over. It was a great week, but very busy.
Here are the highlights:

I found out that Olivia is crawling and can walk around her leap pad table all my herself. Here's a picture of her and Luke kissing!

Joel and I got our tax returns back! Woohoo, here comes new AC and furnace.

Together put on its Second Annual Valentine's Dance. It was a huge sucess. Twice as many people came as last year and the crowd was really into mingling and dancing. Joel and I had a great time together.

Medicine is my best friend

I apologize to all of my wonderful friends out there, but the Z-pack has become my best friend. Within twelve hours of taking the first two pills, I was back to feeling about 80% normal.

I also have to thank my neighbor and friend, Leah, who brought over two chick flicks, popcorn, and ice cream! How sweet is that!

(I'm totally distracted by the Superbowl half time show, so I'm gonna go.)

Don't read this if you get sick easily!

Yesterday I managed to do two things that I'd never done before. However, they both had to do with vomiting. Yes... my day held that much fun.

I woke up on Wednesday feeling a sore throat coming on, but I tried to take it as easy as I could. On Thursday I wasn't feel great at all, but I thought I could make it through my classes. I taught one. Then on my break, I ended up puking in a public bathroom ---- one of the most disgusting things I've ever done! Thankfully, someone could come on the spur of the moment and covered my second class.

So I drove home... but I had to pull over to.... well you know. Finally I got home and laid in bed for a while. Joel came home from work to take me to the doctor so I didn't have to repeat my ride home from work again.

After three pills of my Z pack, I'm feeling much better. But I still decided just to teach my MSU class today and I found a sub to take my LCC hours.
